An adaptation of Mark Knopfler's Remembrance Day to reflect on ANZAC Day. Mark has such a way of bringing such relevance to songs like this and it becomes very real when familiar names come up in the chorus.

Lest we forget.

On Remembrance Day 2022, this is a story about my Father-in-Law, Guy Griffiths, a World War 2 survivor, decorated veteran, proud Australian, and passionately anti-war.   

Remembering everyone who went to war and made sacrifices for us. 

Kevin's debut single was released in December 2021.

Composed back in 2011, this was the first Psalm that Kevin put music to and is based on Psalm 85. The creative challenge at the time was to find the Psalm of the week, put it to music that week and sing it live at mass that Sunday.

This is a pre-release of The Lord Gave Them Bread which was recorded and streamed in masses during the COVID lockdown. Kevin is looking forward to adding more depth in more studio work and releasing this in October 20222. Video images were taken during the permitted one hour of daily exercise time.

This is a pre-release of The Hand of the Lord which is based on Psalm 145. Like the Psalms above, it was recorded for streamed masses during  COVID lockdown. Video footage was taken within the permitted distance from home at the time. 

This is the story of Kevin's relationship with India (and Goa in particular) starting with Vasco da Gama's own discovery and Kevin's first interaction coming from Uganda, via Bombay and through to Goa as a 6-year old. 

This moves to describe a life changing experience on a oppressively hot April night at a cafe. 

Through this journey came the true understanding his Father which came very unexpectedly as it came post his Father's passing with a connection that felt as powerful as if he was here in the living. With this, came a deeper connection to Goa, its land, its people and its culture.
